Challenge
For sensitive locations, the professional AV market needed a high performance, silent, reliable and cost effective camera solution which could gracefully and silently be retracted into ceilings when not in use but also be rapid and 100% reliable in deployment. Existing solutions were large, noisy and unreliable.
Overview’s Solution
After a rapid requirement assessment and concepting phase with the international customer, Overview proposed a number of options with the “Chameleon” a clear favourite on grounds of aesthetics and it’s “3 axis motion” with only two drives. After an agile collaborative development process including preliminary and critical design reviews, Overview delivered pre-production samples for market proving and then rapidly moved to qualification and full-rate production.
