Woking, Surrey 27 August 2020 – Overview Ltd, the leading developer of high-precision sensor positioning technology, is proud to announce that this month it has achieved Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, a UK government-backed cybersecurity standard, offering reassurance to customers, partners and colleagues alike.
Cyber Essentials is an industry-supported scheme developed by the UK Government that helps organisations guard against the most common cyber threats, ensuring that sensitive data is secure and handled correctly, and reducing business risk. Cyber Essentials requires an organisation to have a number of technical and procedural controls in place to improve its information security in order to mitigate common internet-borne cyber-attacks such as hacking, phishing and password guessing.
Overview has also achieved Cyber Essentials Plus status which involves an independent assessment by the certification body IASME, to verify that the required technical security controls have been successfully implemented.
